Marshall was born and raised on a farm outside Newton, IA, home of the Maytag Washer and Dryer. He’s lived and performed in Kansas City, Austin, and most recently the Chugach Mountains of Alaska. Songwriting influences include Vic Ruggerio, John Prine, and J.J. Cale.
