Formed by Kate and Andrew Kirby and based in Texas, The Kirbys combine tight harmonies, strong melodies and interesting chord progressions to create their unique sound. With songwriting styles reminiscent of classic rock, and lyrics that reflect the spirit of American life, their range of influences are as varied as Alice in Chains, Tom Petty and Radiohead, just to name just a few. 

The Kirbys have released several recordings including: EPs: Seven Times (2019) and Acoustic Life (2020); Singles: Harm (2021), Cry (2022), Hold On (2022), Everlasting (2022) and Be Alright (2023), all of which can be found on most streaming platforms. With several recordings currently in the works, they plan to release additional singles by years end.

Touring and performing, primarily as a duo and on occasion as a full band, is a constant. Regular annual tours include California, Colorado and Florida with additional US destinations added weekly. Performances can be acoustic or electric settings with well over 3-hours of original material and select covers in their own style. Accolades include a nomination for Best Live Acoustic band at the Orange County Music Awards (2008), Live TV performance on CBS 19 Music Monday (2018) and featured artist in the #4 spot on the Relix Magazine print and digital playlists (2022).   Notable venues / events where The Kirbys have performed include: The Whisky A GoGo, Sturgis Bike Rally, The Wildflower Music Festival, Poor David's Pub, Your Mom's House, Pumpkin Fest, and Sofar Sounds
