John Bazz is an accomplished American bass guitarist known for his long service in The Blasters. He has also collaborated with notable musicians such as Charlie Musselwhite, Marc Ford, Mike Eldred, Top Jimmy, Ryan Bingham, and Lynwood Slim. He has been a constant in The Blasters' lineup over their more than 40-year history, playing both upright and electric bass. Bazz's approach to bass playing is described as "unwavering and relentless," and he has been highly sought after for his performances
