Let's enjoy astronomy with an ocean view! The viewing begins with close-up views of a lovely 5-day crescent moon. Lunar geology is always awe-inspiring to see up close. Next stop Saturn! Our most striking planet is perfectly placed for viewing, and we will spend lots of time studying the beautiful ringed planet. Jupiter and its colorful cloud bands and interesting moons will also be well-placed for viewing all evening. Our knowledgeable volunteer astronomers will be happy to show you the planets, star clusters and deep sky objects that adorn the November sky.
