Astronomy Night - Star Party

Let's enjoy astronomy with an ocean view! We will start with close-up views of a beautiful 11-day waxing gibbous Moon. Close up views of the Moon's craters, mountains, and lava plains are truly awe inspiring. Jupiter is well-placed for viewing this month and we will enjoy views on its colorful cloud bands and ever changing moons. Some of the best double stars, star clusters, and nebulae will be visible as well. Our knowledgeable volunteer astronomers will be happy to teach you about the Moon, planets, and deep sky objects that adorn the winter sky Our knowledgeable volunteer astronomers will be happy to teach you about the Moon, planets, and deep sky objects that adorn the fall sky.
