Let's enjoy astronomy with an ocean view! Just after sunset, a 10-day waxing gibbous Moon and Venus will shine brilliantly and will start an awesome evening! Close-up views of the moon are always a treat, and we will take a look at Venus and see its "phase" which is currently looking like a small crescent moon. Many sparkling star clusters and nebulae will also be visible. Our knowledgeable volunteer astronomers will be happy to teach you about the Moon, planets, and deep sky objects that adorn the summer sky.
