Let's enjoy astronomy with an ocean view! We will start with close-up views of a beautiful 6-day Moon. The Moon's craters, mountains, and lava plains are truly amazing. The ringed planet Saturn takes center stage this month, and never fails to instill awe and wonder as we view it through powerful telescopes. As the evening progresses, we will also focus on the best double stars, star clusters, and nebulae the early fall sky has to offer. Our knowledgeable volunteer astronomers will be happy to teach you about the Moon, planets, and deep sky objects we will be observing.
