Let's enjoy astronomy with an ocean view! We will start with close-up views of a beautiful 9-day waxing gibbous Moon. Close up views of the Moon's craters, mountains, and lava plains are truly awe inspiring. As the evening progresses, we will focus on the gas giant planets Saturn and Jupiter. Views of the rings of Saturn and the colorful cloud bands on Jupiter never cease to amaze. We will also focus on some of the best double stars, star clusters, and nebulae the November sky has to offer. Our knowledgeable volunteer astronomers will be happy to teach you about the Moon, planets, and deep sky objects that adorn the fall sky.
