Jamie Gia is a Canadian solo, loop-performer living in Southern California. Jamie has toured eastern Canada performing at human rights and environmental advocacy events, festivals, music venues, colleges and on community, grass-roots radio. Jamie's debut EP Nope was nominated for Best Album by the Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards 2017. Jamie's music was also featured in the film, Ashley, which was awarded best LGBT feature by Atlantic City Cinefest. Her music draws its influence from indie, alternative, lo-fi, garage, surf and shoegaze, and has been described as a combination of PJ Harvey and Pavement.
