Music by Lafayette Ben Charlatan

Lafayette Ben-Charlatan brings his  Louisiana gris gris and a Beau Brummell tuxedo to entertain you while tickling ivories and telling tall tales.  Lafayette is a son of the south, hopelessly stuck in the past, who specializes in singing songs from the Great American Songbook from 1920-1950, accompanying himself on the piano-forte.  He'll add a lagniappe of songs from his kinsman Dr. John, Tom Waits, Leon Russell and others whose works are not regularly included among the great American classics, but should be.
